I thought it was a good time to post on the blog. I’m sending out this wedding this morning and so excited for these 2 to get the photos!
….after 11 years (was it??). First met Laurel over a beet burger and cheese curds and chatted just a bit about the guest list. We all went to the same high school, Mike, Laurel, and I, but were either years apart or just never crossed paths. Looking back on it–I’m not sure how that is possible. I felt like I knew everyone at their wedding! It was so neat to see so many familiar faces–some it had been 15+ years… others 5+ days. Everything was at Inn on the Park and such a lovely day. A bit chilly, but having the wedding on Friday meant we avoided this weekend of rain! Tried to poke some fall color into the family pictures and the sunlight made going some of the places I really wanted to stop a bit trickier–but after a long walk around town, I think we managed to grab some good ones. At the end of the night, Katie and I loaded the car up with camera gear and the couch and I said my good byes. And for the first time in the year I’ve been carrying the couch around, Mike said… “It was BYOC???? YOU brought the couch?” Cracked me up. Enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces… and got home and see there were a few people there Katie shot that I didn’t get a chance to say hello to—hope you all enjoyed a wonderful evening. Thanks so much for having us, Mike and Laurel. Congratulations 🙂
